It was an honor to have a chance to lead a virtual talk offered through NYU’s Mid-Career Alumni Network. My session focused on leveraging simple technology tools to create more equitable and empowering discussions. I shared strategies for using edtech like Flip and Pear Deck to transform the traditional meeting culture to make the best use of face-to-face time, cultivate stronger relationships, and allow for creative freedom of thought. Only our imagination is holding us back from building more inclusive conversations representative of all ideas in the room.

Thanks to McGraw Hill PreK-12 for the opportunity to share some of my tips for ensuring that even the quietest students have a voice in the classroom.
I’d love to hear strategies you are using to make sure every idea & voice in your classroom is heard. Comment here or tweet me @buddyxo.

I had a chance to sit down with Lainie Rowell for an open & honest conversation on her Evolving with Gratitude Podcast as I describe my past & current journey, real-life challenges, & the impact #gratitude continues to have on my life.
This episode is dedicated to my sweet Buddy 🐩 who had crossed the rainbow bridge exactly 1 month before our recording.
Please make sure to look out for Lainie’s upcoming book, Evolving with Gratitude, on Amazon. It was my honor to have a chance to contribute to this wonderful book she has written, and I can’t wait to see the impact it will have.
